We were founded in 2022, when over 50,000 Ukrainians had to flee their homes because of the war. Arriving in Sweden, many faced the challenge of a new language and culture.

Ukrainsk Kulturförening i Sverige (UKF) was created as a place of support, helping people adjust to their new lives. Over the past 2.5 years, we’ve organized more than 200 projects to help Ukrainians not just survive but thrive.

These include fun sports events for children, humanitarian aid, Swedish language classes, cultural activities like 'Ukrainian Week', etc. With the help of Swedish partners and volunteers, we’ve worked to bring our communities together.
